Abstract

This article is an extract from the final assignment of the degree in the Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage at the ESCRBCC and presents a study and the restoration process carried out on a piece of artwork worked on at the Terrassa Centre of Documentation and Textile Museum (CDMT): a Sant Hipòlit de Voltregà choir standard on loan from the town’s council.

For the intervention, it must be taken into account that it is considered a mixed-media piece, in other words, it is a heritage piece that consists of a range of materials that are not considered to be part of the piece itself and, therefore, it has different intervention needs.
