Abstract

Preventive conservation and restoration represent a significant challenge at a museum due to the diversity of materials and issues present in relation to the collection. In addition, it plays an important role within the organisation since, with a collaborative, systematic and long-term
strategy, the degradation of the museum’s collections can be prevented.
