Comments on the Guidelines for the Preservation and Restoration of Stained Glass.

Abstract

When undertaking the translation to Catalan of the regulations of the Corpus Vitrearum Technical Committee for the Preservation of Stained Glass, I thought it would be interesting to produce a summary with annotations on how these apply in our region. The aim of this paper is, therefore, to give a local perspective on these international guidelines. The Catalan translation is published in the minutes of the eleventh international forum on the Preservation of Stained Glass, held in Barcelona in July 2022.
